Per l'occasione sono previste iniziative promozionali legate al progetto Velascuole, co promosso con il Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione. il 1° maggio la classe Optimist dei velisti “Under 15″ si ritroverà al porticciolo di Bogliaco per il “33° trofeo Antonio Danesi”. Dal 21 al 22 maggio sarà la volta della ambita “Gentlemen’s Cup”, la gara internazionale per monotipi riservata ai timonieri-armatori.
Questa regata saluterà anche i velisti del vecchio Continente che dal 24 al 29 maggio parteciperanno all’European Access Class, il campionato d’Europa per i velisti con disabilità motore, importante progetto che vedrà coinvolte realtà come “Eos la vela per tutti” di Verona, “Archè” di Trento, “Hyak Onlus” del Cps e dell’Aod di Desenzano del Garda, la Fondazione ASM di Brescia.
