Monday, March 7, 2011, at 17:30, at the Institute for the Blind in Milan, Via Nursery 7 Milano, the splendid Sala Barozzi recently restored, has been the traditional place Ceremony of the Golden Stars and Sports Merit Gold Medal for Athletic Value organized by CONI Lombardia. Stars have been awarded seven gold medals for sporting merit and eleven gold athletic prowess. For Fraglia Vela Desenzano, the only award winning company, was attended by the President Mario Pizzatti, Vice President Fosson Romana, the city councilor and minister Desenzano Sergio Parolini FVD Pieralberto Corti.
the Golden Star for Sporting Merit awarded to the partnership in August 2010 Desenzano is the highest honor awarded by the National Olympic Committee to those companies that have distinguished themselves most in the promotion and practice of Sport. The more than fifty years of intense athletic activities, and honors the rich that can boast Fraglia were decisive in the allocation of this important honor.
During the ceremony, conducted da Bruno Pizzul, sono stati inoltre assegnati premi speciali del CONI Lombardia a Cesare Prandelli (ct Nazionale), Wesley Sneijder (Inter), Franco Arturi (vicedirettore La Gazzetta dello Sport), Tania Zamparo (giornalista SkySport), Nicolas Marini (ciclismo – medaglia argento YOG), Carlotta Ferlito (ginnastica) e Ludovico Edalli (ginnastica ). La consegna dei premi si è tenuta alla presenza di Pier Luigi Marzorati, Presidente del CONI Lombardia che ha ricordato che l’importante cerimonia: “vuole dare il giusto riconoscimento a quanti, nella loro qualità di atleti o dirigenti, hanno contribuito al successo e alla valorizzazione dello sport”
